About Brooke
Brooke Brannon writes dark, quirky fiction and provides freelance editing services for authors and publishers. She has also been a first reader for the magazines Fantasy & Science Fiction and The Dread Machine and the horror podcast Tales to Terrify.
She has won awards for her nonfiction from the Society of Professional Journalists. The second piece of short fiction she ever published ("Why I'm Angry") was nominated for a 2021 Pushcart Prize.
She is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association (US), ProCopywriters (UK), the Horror Writers Association, the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association, the Society of Authors (UK), and The Writer's Union (UK).
